Animation in Powerpoint - GIF DIY

Although, like everyone else, I’ve enjoyed adding the occasional animation to my presentations, during the creation of my DIY GIF course I’ve been digging pretty deep into the custom animation settings for Powerpoint. And what I’ve discovered, surprised me…
By combining animation timings it is possible to produce some really rather sophisticated animation, like the magnet gif shown here. So it looks like I’ll be adding some custom Powerpoint animation to GIF DIY too – possibly even a separate course…custom animation
In the meantime if you are interested in using animation for demonstration slides (like the gif above), I’d urge you to start digging yourself. Look especially at the custom paths,  timings and advanced timeline.
No Powerpoint?
Fear not Kingsoft Office Presentation is free and the animation function virtually identical.
